Mind of Gold 04:19
MIND OF GOLD. Something's got me sold to the river of a golden mind. Is it a dream? Or is it a lie? The way looks out of reach but I guess if I don't try. I'll never be free. Never satisfied. Over and over and over and over again. Over and over and over and over again. Been searching all around, been to so many places of old. But I still can't find, a mind of gold. Does anybody know what it is that I'm searching for? Can it be real, without any flaws? Over and over and over and over again. Over and over and over and over again. Only a fool would go, to so many lengths just to find himself. Back to where he started all along. There's so many clues to behold. I don't know what I'm doing walking around in the cold. It shouldn't take a brainiack to figure this one out. Over and over and over and over again. Over and over and over and over again. Something's got a hold but I guess I've got to take a chance. Stop goofing around, and take a stand. It's easy to remain in repeat in a sadistic mind. But I want out, coz it's driving me blind. As I stumble and I blunder down the river of a golden mind. It's not the perfect kind, nor is it idealised. The fallacies taught can be seen over a thousand time. And they are the dreams, that can not be found. Over and over and over and over again. Over and over and over and over again.

THE BOOK THAT DREW ITSELF I see the book that draws itself and colours fill the pages. Turning as I look through the sum of all the ages. Watched it all unfold with the trigger of my wondering mind. It drew of a time when the cities were made of gold. And another of its kind when the devil had its strongest hold. Chorus Then it painted, all the lights out slowly. Tainted, all the windows ghostly. It faded, all the sights unholy. It all just disappeared. The Sorcerer he said, never go back to the start of this book, Coz the things once there you will not find. Let the pages go to the moment of your wondering mind It drew of a place where the forests ruled the world at last. And another of its kind filled with concrete and broken glass. Chorus Then it painted, all the lights out slowly. Tainted, all the windows ghostly. It faded, all the sights unholy. It all just disappeared. Instrumental break I wish I could just hold this and put it in a bottle. And use it for a rainy day when things are getting hostile. And let the pages flow to the wanderings of my mind. There's a clone of me making stone castles on the moon. What a place to be, do I really have to leave so soon? Chorus Then it painted, all the lights out slowly. Tainted, all the windows ghostly. It faded, all the sights unholy. It all just disappeared.

GIANTS, SNAKES AND DINOSAURS. Hold still, don't you stare at my harp now. Only a boy with a silver eyed dog can pass. Beware of the flying gwiber snake. He lives on land and...under water. No one could kill him but so many they did try. Then one day, with bows and arrows he retreated. He disappeared into the river. Never seen again to...ever slaughter Chorus: Lah la la lah. La la la la lah, la la la la lah. Lah, lah, la la la la lah. At Land of the Eagles, the giant Rhita he does rest. In amongst the dinosaur backbone of the world. A bearded cloak of kings he wore. But he was slain and...fought no more. Chorus: Lah la la lah. La la la la lah, la la la la lah. Lah, lah, la la la la lah. The howling winds blew the mist over Avalon. In a blink and scratch of an eye, she was gone. Nine sisters guard the house of glass. And all the saints that lye beneath...ever last. Chorus: Lah la la lah. La la la la lah, la la la la lah. Lah, lah, la la la la lah. Extra end chorus

Bubbles 04:14
BUBBLES Driver please, won't you take me home? It's 4 am and I'm drunken and worn. I take a look outside my rear window. There's an eerie feeling as the wind blows. And when I step outside. There's not a soul around. I'm where the night must fall. And where a new day will rise. Chorus. Some things aren't for lasting. When one road ends so another begins. I'll take to unmasking. When one door closes another opens. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah. Across the way, there is a charming cafe. The waiters there, seem possessed in some way. I wonder if they are from planet X. But hey, who cares, at least they're playing T-Rex. There's only me in the room. It's funny how you can find. Solace in a tune. And leave it all behind. Chorus. Some things aren't for lasting. When one road ends so another begins. I'll take to unmasking. When one door closes another opens. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah. Margery, she starts talking to me. Kind of makes me think of Mr Hankey. See, Margery she is my jolly bauble. But what she speaks sounds like a gibbering spell. Are her words at all wise? I clearly can't surmise. Her bells they jungle and shine. She must be out of my mind. Chorus. Some things aren't for lasting. When one road ends so another begins. I'll take to unmasking. When one door closes another opens. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah. Bah bah bah bah bah baaah.

MOANING MINI GETS BEAMED UP BY A UFO Moaning Mini stands so tidy, what she got to say? No one wants to hear it so she's brushed away. She moans about the particles, the ones that don't adhere, To all her wants and needs, and oh, she's so in despair. One day she, will moan too much. And all the sky, will gobble her up. Her words like spattered gun fire, they shoot out frantically. And nothing's ever perfect, never faultlessly. I wonder if we fed her lots of chocolates. Her pointed ears and sputtered mouth would dissipate? Yes one day she, will moan too much. And all the sky, will gobble her up. Mini wants a worm hole to make all stand still. So she can catch a fire, do the impossible. She doesn't have broom coz she failed her flying test. And all who look upon her, have to watch her in jest. Then one day, she did moan too much. A UFO came and beamed her up. The UFO was perfectly symmetrical. It blinded all the people, made them all stand still. So Mini got her portal, but alas she was not heard. Coz where she was about to go, there were no words. The beings they did not have ears or mouths to speak. They only corresponded telepathically. So all of Mini's moans, were lost in space. And she has disappeared without a trace.

RAVEN'S BALL. Creature nations, all big and all small. Gather to meet at the Raven's Ball. Dressed to be seen. Like actors they beam. Orbs on horses ride to the site. Paper star fish applaud with delight. Can you see? What this could be? Chorus Ice cream cones under tiny white thrones The rain from the corn ships that nest in the sky, falls down frantically, into the sea. Shells with their bells and the turtles with beads. The snails gather warp speed but trespass with ease, oh so gracefully, towards the scene. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Mini dragons blow bubbles and float. A thing on a spring likes to rock with the boat. There's plenty to eat. Its all colours and sweets. A mole on the run drives his car to this date. A jet setters mother taps her feet coz he's late. There's an abundance to see. And anything can be. Will this happening come to an end? The answer is simple, on you that depends. Does it fade as you grow? Or will you never let go? As the ball is a game, so the game is a ball. The longer you leap, then you never will fall. Stay gracefully. Into the the scene. M8 instrumental Hah hah Chorus Ice cream cones under tiny white thrones The rain from the corn ships that nest in the sky, falls down frantically, into the sea. Shells with their bells and the turtles with beads. The snails gather warp speed but trespass with ease, oh so gracefully, towards the scene.

Knowing 04:06
KNOWING. He called out to sea; 'will I ever be king?' The Oracle she spoke; 'you will conquer all the world'. How did he deal with knowing? A cold hearted Queen had her trusted adviser. But she too would seek consult in a higher power. How would she have ruled without it? Their strive for greatness had its price. And their sacrifice it runs throughout humankind, and time. Chorus Some hear the drum of their calling and their station. When their time comes, they'll be ready and a waiting. But how do they deal with knowing? The elements that sing out from the stars through the ages. The lone riding warriors with their lessons from the sages. How do they deal with sowing? Their strive for greatness has its price. And the sacrifice it runs throughout humankind, and time. Chorus Some hear the drum of their calling and their station. When their time comes, they'll be ready and a waiting. But how do they deal with knowing? The pauper has a vision of a palace in the sky. So determined, unwavering, he brings it to his feet. How does he deal with winning? His strive for greatness has its price. And his sacrifice it runs throughout humankind, and time. Chorus Some hear the drum of their calling and their station. When their time comes, they'll be ready and a waiting. But how do they deal with knowing?

MAY CAUSE SIDE EFFECTS. The elephants are talking. And there's a little lady. She plays the ukulele. And the meteors fall down a dungeon so deeply. A downward stream leads to somewhere and nowhere. I descend down just to see what's down there. Chorus. Then something keeps on pulling at me. I try to look but I can not see. Tapping on my hip to wake me. But I'm gonna go towards the melody. Ahhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ha ha ha ha. I take an old steam train. To a space exploration. There's a map of constellations. And a worker who circles an outline of stars there. I lie and say he is searching the wrong place. I must deter him away from that space. Chorus. Then something keeps on pulling at me. I try to look but I can not see. Tapping on my hip to wake me. But I'm gonna go towards the melody. Ahhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ha ha ha ha. There's a sea of Dolphins. And I call upon them. They tell me to ask questions. So I say how's do you do, can you show me the way please? A flow of cats enter straight through a glass door. It's a Stargate, so I follow and teleport. Chorus. Then something keeps on pulling at me. I try to look but I can not see. Tapping on my hip to wake me. But I'm gonna go towards the melody. Ahhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ha ha ha ha.

Orpheus 01:55
ORPHEUS. Orpheus he played, his lyre and sang to the Underworld. Descended into Hades, charmed the tortured souls therein. He had to find his wife, and bring her back to life again. His beloved Eurydice was a nymph of oak, but she, met her cruel end, when bitten by a snake when she was running away from Aristaeus along the river bank. The Gods they did agree, to let her go as long as he, never turned behind as they ascended up again. But Orpheus he did not trust, and turned around to see. So Orpheus lost his, beloved to the Underworld. And Hades turned away, from all his please so tragically. Poor Orpheus, melodious. He never wed again. Orpheus was killed, by all the lovers he had spurned. They came at him with stones and clubs and tore him to pieces. He only had his lyre and the muses wept for him.

GOSSIPING OLD HAND BAG. With her lining and worn out creases. She is rugged and rough around the edges. And her smell is stale, and her colour has faded. But inspite of all this, she will tell a spiteful tale. Chorus: Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. What's inside this dark hole of a carrier? She seems full, yet empty all the same. And her pockets are thin, and her zips are all broken. But it's coz of all this, she will tell a spiteful tale. Chorus: Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. Don't be fooled there are younger and smaller. They are party bags first but get bigger and bigger. And they sparkle and glisten to the sound of all phrases. Only too keen to listen, to twist and turn a tale. Chorus: Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. Jibber jabber doodle goes the silver needle, watch the old bag doesn't fray. Jibber jabber doodle dance around the middle, watch the gossip stray. End chorus Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hah. Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hah. Dadee dadee dadee dideen dadee dadee dadee dadee dadee day. Dadee dadee dadee dideen dadee dadee dadee dadee dadee day.

The Fool 04:56
THE FOOL The girl in the mirror said 'darling put your toys away'. She's a natural born grinner and the cards keep showing the way. Don't you want to know what's on the other side? And when you turn this corner you can say goodbye to your pride. Chorus I'm tied, to a strapless time. Where there's no trampoline. The days are falling behind. I'm bound, with nowhere else to go. With not a wall to lean. Escaping's all that I know. And when you're The Fool's daughter, things are not quite what they seem. Please take my hand, I'll fly you to another way. New dictionaries, visionaries, space exploration on sale. Now Jim's about to turn into The Lizard King. The choices are unstable, but you'll never regret once you're in. Chorus I'm tied, to a strapless time. Where there's no trampoline. The days are falling behind. I'm bound, with nowhere else to go. With not a wall to lean. Escaping's all that I know. And when you're The Fool's daughter, things are not quite what they seem. With this lolly take this folly over to The Fool to be read. Sense is unvocabulable, there is no room in his head. Don't you want to open up, and see what's inside? The voices speak of fables that you'll never forget if you tried. Chorus I'm tied, to a strapless time. Where there's no trampoline. The days are falling behind. I'm bound, with nowhere else to go. With not a wall to lean. Escaping's all that I know. And when you're The Fool's daughter, things are not quite what they seem. And when you're The Fool's daughter, things are not quite what they seem. Yeh, In the smokers corner, nothing is quite what I dream.

Follow 03:57
FOLLOW. He's a golden retriever. He likes to count all his stones. He's been sent to deceive her, With all that he is, and more. She follows...follows herself...follows herself. Chorus She looks out to the mirror to see who she wants to be. But is this her, or someone else they told her that she should be? Follows...follows herself...follows herself. She's a strong receiver. But things don't go right for her. She doesn't do herself favours, With all the bad thoughts, she has. Coz they follow...Follow herself...Follow herself. Chorus She looks out to the mirror to see who she wants to be. But is this her, or someone else they told her that she should be? Follows...follows herself...follows herself. I hope that one day she'll change. Yes she could do it right now. Her history can erase. And all she'd have to do, is follow...Follow herself...Follow herself. Chorus She looks out to the mirror to see who she wants to be. But is this her, or someone else they told her that she should be? Follows...follows herself... I hope you follow yourself.

Thirteen 02:58
THIRTEEN Don't forget your raincoat and your flower wellies too. Water here was said to cure an ailment or two. A bell rock chimed, a thousand times, louder than before. Sacred tablets taken to four corners of the earth. The lines in which they rest are of no coincidence. So many souls, guard to protect, their secret safe. Chorus And oh, now I wonder how these stories came together? Is this what lies beneath the truth or is it better? Questions all the things that we were told of heaven and hell. Is thirteen really unlucky too? The hieroglyphs of Egypt are meticulous with riddles. They speak of boats that carry the dead to everlasting life. Their hearts are weighed, on judgement day, to seal their fate. How did they get the stones across to stand and make Stonehenge? How did they make the Nazca lines so perfectly aligned? What will unfold, we may never know, could they fly? Chorus And oh, now I wonder how these stories came together? Is this what lies beneath the truth or is it better? Questions all the things that we were told of heaven and hell. Is thirteen really unlucky too? The maths behind the paintings of the fifteenth century. Stirred controversial undertones which challenged history. Painters combined, God and science, revolutionised. Aphrodite said to be born of the deep blue sea. Giants, dragons and unicorns, myth or reality? Where does it go, infinity, such an entity? Chorus And oh, now I wonder now these stories came together? Is this what lies beneath the truth or is it better? Questions all the things that we were told of heaven and hell. Is thirteen really unlucky too? Repeat chorus x 2

His Season 02:37
HIS SEASON. He had blue eyes, he was of fame, and he was from the past. I knew of all his work, the ones he'd done, and the ones to come. He had this air. And overwhelming stare. Chorus. And so I walked through his season. The sun was shining, and all seemed harmless. But I knew, there was a reason. Yes I knew, something had to be done. I did not know how I got there, I did not know for why. But there was freedom in this place, one of a different style. He showed me around. This peaceful town. Chorus. And so I walked through his season. The sun was shining, and all seemed harmless. But I knew, there was a reason. Yes I knew, something had to be done.
